How can I renew domain mapping?
-
Hello, when I go to the “My Upgrades” page in the Dashboard, it seems to tell me that the mapping expired in August 2012. There is no way to renew this that I can see. Nevertheless, the domain mapping still seems to work. I don’t want to be getting something for free that I should be paying for. How do I renew this device?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, it does look like you are getting the mapping for free when it expired a while back.
I can help you get that straightened out.
Just to make sure, you do still have pastornicksblog.com registered somewhere, correct? Whois data shows the registrar as http://www.domainbox.com

Hello rootjosh,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I still do have the DN registered through DomainMonster (domain box). I have primary, secondary, and tertiary name servers pointing to NSx.wordpress.com.

Okay, I have moved that upgrade to your account and you should be able to renew it now. Let me know if you have any trouble.
As a “thank you” for the honesty, I have also added enough credits to your account to cover one year of mapping.

Wow, thanks so much! I’ve just done it so hopefully will see it working soon. Much appreciated.

I’m not seeing that yet. I had to update another year to get it out to August 2014. But URLs on the site all still say pnonline.wordpress.com/xxxxxx instead of pastornicksblog.com/xxxxxx. I will check it later.

That is very odd, you shouldn’t have had to pay to “catch up”. I’m going to refund that payment and set the expiration date to be one year from today, which is what I had intended with the credits I had added to your account.

I appreciate it, but I was a couple of years behind!
The mapping seems to be totally squared away now.
