How can I separate one of my sites and transfer to someone?

    My boss asked me to create a wordpress site for her…so she could login and start doing her personal blogging. However, I created new blog for her under my sites……I cannot create another one for her because I have used her preferred site name ‘xxxx.wordpress.com’!! I know I am stupid :(

    How could I detach this new blog from my sites ( I have few sites but all personal) and create a new login and password for the blog so she could own it and use it herself? Thanks so much in advance!! Please help me!!

    Don’t worry, it’s possible to transfer ownership of a site to another WordPress.com account :)

    Your boss would need to create their own account before you transfer the site to them. Once they have an account you can transfer the site using these instructions:

    What is the URL of the site you created for your boss? If you have a domain name associated with that site the process is a little different, but I can check for you.
