  and how can the reply area be cleaned up? I don’t want all of thos extra text in there:

  Actually if the link in the grey area is your blog then I can answer you.

  You cannot have the comments on the main blog page here at wordpress.COM. And if you think about it, if you have popular posts with lots of comments then people may have to scroll way down the page in order to get to the next post.

  Personally when I come on blogs with long lists of comments on the main page, I seldom stick around to long enough to scroll down to the next post.
