How can I transfer my domain to shopify.com

I want to transfer my domain to another webhost ie shopify.com. I have tried to go through all the guides, FAQs and information provided by wordpress but am still unable to make the transfer. Please can someone guide me through the process.

I have received the authorization code, however, shopify does not know what to do with it! Is there any other way that I can do the transfer? Where can I find my DNS record. When I go to my DNS manager it says the records are not hosted here.

Oh, perhaps they can’t accept incoming domain transfers.
In that case, ask them what their name servers are, and change your domain’s name servers following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/
Your domain name will still be with us, but it will be directed to them.

Why am I not able to have my domain point to my shopify store by changing the A record and CNAME?
The support at Shopify tells me that that should make it work. But it does not.

Thanks! Here are the instructions I have from shopify:
Contact your domain providers support team and ask them to set it up like this:
– Your “www” subdomain should point using CNAME to vintage-desi.myshopify.com
– Your root domain (without the www) should have an A Record pointing to 204.93.213.45Do you need any other information on this?

Also wanted to add, my shopify support guy looked up the A records and it seems there are multiple entries – should only have one for 204.93.213.45?
I see all these as enabled right now:

I have made the requested changes.
When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors”. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.
If you still have trouble viewing the site after 72 hours has passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies:
