How can I transfer one of my blogs to someone else, keeping the username?
-
How can I take an existing username and blog under the umbrella of my account and transfer it to a different(new) account? I need to give up control of one of my two blogs and I want to keep the domain I purchased for it and the username and email associated with it. I try to start a new account but they obviously won’t let me use the username I want because it’s taken (by me!).
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
What I can do is transfer the blogs within the accounts. Tell me exactly which blog (and upgrades/domain) you want in each account and I can get it transferred for you.
Cheers!

Thanks! I’d like the Park Corner blog to be a separate account with the “Park Corner” username and the email (email visible only to moderators and staff) as the log in. The domain that was purchased is parkcornermv.com – it was the $18 a year option. And the credit card info on that is good to keep.

Hi there,
Please log out of WordPress.com, and create a new account under the email address:
(email visible only to moderators and staff)
Once that is created, I can transfer the site and the domain into that new account.
Let me know if you have any questions with this!

Ok, so I’m not trying to sign up for a new account but it won’t seem to go through. I put in all info and click “create blog” at the bottom yet the screen doesn’t change. I don’t have any incorrect or incomplete info in there… and I tried it on a few different computers. No activation email either.
