How can I upload a new picture? Says 'not enough space' so I delete old ones…

    I’m trying to upload a picture. I get a message saying, ‘ IMG_4183.jpg Not enough space to upload. 766 KB needed.’ I try to delete some old pictures, but keep getting the same message. You would think if I deleted some pics of equal memory, now there should be enough space?

    If the images you are deleting are used in old posts, deleting them from the media library will also delete them from the posts.

    I would encourage you to look into the Space Upgrade (part of WordPress.com Premium) if you need more storage:
