How can make a widget show only on the home page of my blog?

Hi, I have an image widget on the right-hand sidebar of my blog (first one on top). Now I would like this widget to show only on the home page of my blog. For instance I do not want it to show when I click on a post’s title and a new page appears showing the post and the comments to it.

You have a choice of themes. Some themes show the sidebar on all posts and pages, and some only on one or two. But there is NO theme here that changes the widget display depending on which page you’re on.
