How can subscribers post directly to the blog?

  I am unclear on how blog subscribers can post to the blog, other than replying. Please advise

  Hi,

  Subscribers can’t post directly to the blog until you invite them to become contributors with one of the user roles that allow them to publish their own posts, and they’ve accepted the invitation. See the following relevant support pages.

  Thx…I have another question:
  If people have been added as contributors, are they automatically followers, or do they also need to be invited as followers? Please advise.
