How come a CNBC video embed won't play?

I’ve linked to a CNBC video (http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000309768), but the embed code won’t play. Worse, the embed code disappears with each post update.
Is there a problem with WordPress settings? Or is it the code?

I’m sorry, but that embed code will not work because we do not allow certain tags on WordPress.com for security reasons, including JavaScript, Flash, iframe, form, and input tags. These restrictions are in place to prevent any disruptions in service due to potentially malicious code.

Is there a way to make an exception, or does the prohibition remain categorical? -
Generally, it’s a pretty broad brush prohibition. When we see a significant amount of interest in embedding a particular type of object or media, we may look into creating our own system for doing so (youtube embeds would be an example).

This is my first time dealing with this website (CNBC), so I can’t speak to its security. Obviously the video clip – of myself – is excellent.As a devoted WordPress user, should I ask sites using those prohibited tools to consider making YouTube or other acceptable versions?
