How could this person have flash in a widget in a wordpress.com blog?

I am really puzzled at how this user was able to add a widget which relies on Flash in his/her wordpress.com blog.
Here is the address : http://dourous.wordpress.com . It is a hegirien calendar on the left. The website becomes dourous . net when you click, so I assume they bought a domain name through AUTOMATTIC (well that’s what the whois says for it anyway), but I thought that buying your own domain name did not grant you any more flexibility as to what you can or cannot do on a wordpress.com blog. Am I missing something? -
We volunteers are aware of this however, we do not have an answer to your question. http://www.al-habib.info/ This has nothing whatsoever to do with the purchase of a domain name. Nothing changes when you buy a domain name. There are no additional perks. If you want an answer to your question then will you please contact Staff? http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

@harryjamesjunior: What you’re missing is that we do use flash in wp.com blogs (for instance youtube videos or the audio player). What we cannot do is use flash or iframe codes directly: inserting flash objects is done via special shortcodes. The calendar you saw is taken from http://www.al-habib.info/islamic-calendar/ and relies on the gigya shortcode.

Only this site doesn’t provide ready-to-use gigya shortcodes. If you’re interested in something in particular, I’ll see if I can convert it for you. -
I was completely unaware of that!! You REALLY have made my day!!!!! I have read the instructions in the al-habib.info website, will try to implement them and will come back to you if that’s ok! I do remember there was at least one other widget using Flash that I need, I might send it to you too if I cant work it out. Thank you soooooooooooooo much!!
