how do add an html badge to the sidebar?

  I have html code of a badge that I want to put in the sidebar. I used the text widget but it doesn’t show the completed badge. How do I do it? I have tried everything, I have no idea. Please help, I need to put it up A.S.A.P, thank you.

  If it contains any code that we don’t allow on WordPress.com – like an iframe, JavaScript, or Flash – that could be why it’s not working. I’ll be glad to take a peek. Thanks!

  Thanks for providing the code.

  The reason the code won’t work on WordPress.com is that it includes an iframe, which is a tag we don’t allow for security reasons. You can read more about the types of code we allow at the link I provided earlier:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

  You might try seeing whether the site in question provides a non-iframe version of the badge that you can use istead. You can might even be able to create your own badge just using a graphic and a link.
