How do I access my domain?

    I want to send my Domain name over to GoDaddy but I don’t even know how to access it on wordpress.com

    Hi there,

    Can you please tell us the domain you’re trying to transfer? The account you’re using to post here has never owned any domains with us.

    I don’t know why I am in this forum, there didn’t seem to be any other way to contact WordPress. com.

    On Sept 20th, I moved my domain of “talktothemountain.com” from GoDaddy to WordPress.com and paid for hosting and the domain name for a total of $300 (through Paypal).

    On Sept 21, I cancelled the hosting because it didn’t work with what I was trying to do with my domain. I was refunded $274.00 ($26 was kept by WordPress for the domain hosting).
    Paypal told me: “WordPress.com refunded $274.00 USD from your purchase on September 21, 2018.”

    So, I need to know where my domain is and how to access it. If you go to talktothemountain.com you will see a shell of the site – here is another url: https://wordpress.com/stats/day/talktothemountain.com

    Is there some one else I can talk to?

    @talktothemountain,

    In future, please don’t post into other people’s threads. You can open your own support request using the help icon appearing in all the My Sites pages, where you’re eligible for private email support, given you own a paid upgrade.

    Your domain is still in your account, and you can see and manage it at My Site ->Domains.

    If you want to use that domain somewhere else, we have options for both pointing and transferring the domain to other providers:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/

    If you go to talktothemountain.com you will see a shell of the site

    That is the WordPress.com site in your account to which you transferred the domain in September last year. You never created any content on that site, which is why it’s only showing the default content.

    Usually the domain name service provider will have the function to transfer the domain name you are using to another provider. But if your provider does not have that function, you can contact them directly to get it. help .
    Previously, my website was: https://noithatlacgia.com registered at Namesilo but I successfully transferred to Godaddy.t I successfully transferred to Godaddy.
