How do I add a You Tube link to my post, ready to play?
-
Hello, I sometimes add a YouTube link to my post and it appears as it does on You Tube, with a picture of the screen and play arrow, ready to view along with the post. Just recently, all that appears on the finished post is the link (Example – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kamXvqoL_JA) What has happened, how do I get them onto the finished post as they are supposed to appear and view at the same time as the post, instead of leaving the post and opening a seperate link to You Tube?. Thanks.

Hi there!
It looks like you have some formatting applied to your YouTube links in your latest post. Specifically, each link is a color and they’re bold. This forces each one into several HTML tags in the Text editor.
In order for these videos to embed, you’ll need to do one of the following things:
1. Edit your post in the Text editor to remove the p, span, and strong tags around each link.
2. Edit you post to use the YouTube shortcode instead of the direct link.
Let me know if I can help further!
