How do I add email addresses to receive post notifications?

I’ve created a blog that a group of 18 is using. Everyone has the user name and password and would like to be alerted with an email when a new comment has been posted. Is there a way to set up a bulk email so I won’t have to personally send emails to everyone?

You could start a new email and set that as the admin and give everyone the password for it, but that would essentially make everyone an admin of the blog. VERY messy, VERY risky. I would recommend not doing that.

If the blog is not private then they could all subscribe to the comments feed on the blog, although that will send them the feed, not an email.

I want to have the emails sent to their work addresses (guess I should have stated that before). The blog is private. I’m not too worried about having everyone as admins.

As far as I know, with the blog being private, there is no way to send any email updates except for doing it manually. With it private, RSS is disabled.

Some email services allow you to set up mailing lists, and then forward emails received at that address to a list of people. That would be my only suggestion.
