How do I add post to static home page?

    Hi, I’m completely new to using wordpress thus am a little bewildered so far! I tried to create a post that was linked to my static home page but although it is published I can’t see it on my blog anywhere. I did create another page linked to the home page “Today’s News” but I don’t know whether I’ve just not created the correct page/post/category settings. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

    Hi there,

    If you want your posts to appear under the page ‘Today’s news’ you created. You need to add that page to your main menu. This way when someone clicks on that menu item all of your posts will be displayed:

    Alternatively, you can remove the static front page you created and then all your posts will appear on your site’s homepage. Here’s how to do that:
