How do I blackout my blog?

  Hi there, I am trying to figure out how to blackout my blog in protest of my country’s latest new licensing framework for “news websites” but to no avail. Would be great if someone can help me out here, thanks!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can change the public blog visibility to private here > Settings > Reading

  If you still want your site to be accessible, change your Dashboard>Settings>Reading settings to display only a single post on your blog and create a post for today and upload and insert a large black rectangle image with perhaps a note as to why it is “blacked out”.

  You can also do this by changing your site’s front page to a static front page and doing the same thing.
