how do I cancel a renewal BEFORE it happens?

    I’d like to cancel the renewal I have scheduled for October 14. it seems I can’t preemptively cancel it, only request a refund once it’s done… I followed the instructions of going to My Upgrades, clicking the cog, and there is no ‘cancel’ option. this seems ridiculous to me and I must be missing a step, right? please help, i don’t want to pay $18 for something I don’t and won’t use. thank you!

    Hi there,

    It looks like you have disabled the auto-renewal and you will not be charged going forward. The domain: pickychickpicksdelish.com is set to expire on October 13th, 2014. If that’s what you want you can ignore all the incoming emails regarding the expiration.

    However, if you want to completely cancel the domain now, please note that canceling a domain at this time means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.
