How do I change settings to allow me to add new posts and pages to my blog?
-
I’m trying to set up a wordpress blog on a university server. I got the application installed and added pages and one post but now, a day later, I’m not able to add new content–posts or pages. I can edit existing pages or the one post but not add new material. The admin screen (under the publish options) gives me the option to “save draft” or “preiview” but not “post”. And when I try those two options, I get a message saying “are you sure you want to do this- try again.” When I click on that, nothing happens. Its seems that I’ve lost the admin authority of the site I created, even though I’m still listed as “admin.” Is this a bug? Is there a setting I’m missing?

Hi there,
Could you please send us a link to the blog you’re trying to edit?
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and the self-hosted WordPress software, available at http://wordpress.org, are two different entities:
We can only support blogs hosted here at WordPress.com, so if you’re trying to edit a self-hosted WordPress blog, you’ll need to check out the WordPress.org forums:
