How do I change the author name?

    When I link posts to facebook (the post there when I post here) it says “by_______” after the title. The name showing there is not the name of my blog or my username. It’s the name I originally had for my blog, followed by / then the first word of the current name. I thought I had deleted all traces of the former name. How do I change this now?

    Do you have a publicly displayed name (nickname) on the account which is different from the username? If so, this can be changed at your My Public Profile page. This may or may not resolve the issue you describe.
