How do I change the automatic thumbnails that come up on hompage from post

  The thumbnail picutres on the homepage from the blog posts come up automatically and I can’t work out how to change this. Please help!

  You can choose another theme here http://wordpress.com/themes/ if you do not like what’s happening with the one you have now. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/spun/

  OR you could just choose one image and select it as the Featured Image. Then it’ll be the thumbnail.

  Thank you! Yes the ‘featured image’ function is the one I needed :)
