How do I change the size of my blogs body/column?

How do I change my main blog body size. I want the main central column smaller in width but cant seem to find how to adjust this. At the moment it is not at the original width as when I installed the theme ( Twenty Eleven )

You cannot chnage this except by purchasing an annually renewable custom design upgrade and doing the required CSS editing.
