How do I change what the subscription email looks like?

  When people follow my blog, the email they receive is not from anyone and I would like it to be from my email address, is that possible? Also, I would like to change the content of the email.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The answer to both questions is your can’t change either the address or the content.

  We have no input in the format of the email that is sent by WordPress.com, other than to specify whether the recipient receives the full content of your post or only part. (Under Dashboard>Settings>Reading Settings)

  The only way you can have control over the format and content of any subscription email sent is by offering your users a sign up for an external mail service, such as MailChimp.
