how do I change where the widgets display?

  I am using Highwind theme. My widgets are displaying in the footer and I want them to display in a sidebar, but I can’t figure out how to change it. Is there a non-techy way to change this? The theme designs shows them in the sidebar, but they aren’t displaying there for me.

  Gave up on the highwind theme, now don’t see anyway to delete this.
