how do I copyright my photos?

    I am new at this, so thanks for the help. I just got my own domain today, and was told by a friend, that ssomeone, could take my photos from my site, and use them as there own. I don’t want that to happen, is there a way, to have my name appear, on my photos? So My blog is going to be mostly photograph, I want to share my photos with everyone, but would like my name somehow on the bottom corner of the photo, is it possible?     Adding a watermark to your images is a great idea! This is something you need to do to the actual image file before uploading it to your site though.

    Please note that it’s against the law in the United States and in many other countries to reproduce text or images created by someone else without their permission, even if you provide a citation.
