How do I delete a blog but keep the address for future use?

  I want to delete 1 of my blogs, it’s michaelifeldman.wordpress.com

  I created it accidentally (i wanted the name dogsofaustralia.wordpress.com which I subsequently created.

  But I do want to keep michaelifeldman.wordpress.com for later use

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Then don’t delete it, because deletions are permanent and irreversible. Just go to the dashboard Settings->Reading page and set it to Private.
