How do I delete a blog I created accidentally?
-
I am trying to delete a blog I have created accidentally because I used the wrong name. I should have just changed the name of the blog, but after not being able to figure that out (at the time) , I created another blog with the correct name.
So now I have an additional blog under my WordPress account that I don’t need to use.
I have tried going into the Dashboard of this aforementioned blog and click on Tools, then on Delete Site. I believe I am supposed to click on the final option : “Permanently delete my site’s address and all content.” but I am unsure whether this is the right action to take and do not want either of my other two blogs to be affected.
Could anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Deleting a blog name is forever and that name can’t be used again
If you set it to “Private” you can use it as a spare and one to learn on
Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading >> Site Visibility
When you delete a blog only one blog at a time is deleted and there are several steps including an email you need to click on a link in to delete a blog – that said – be extra careful as deleting is gone forever
