how do i delete a site from my dashboard
-
Hi,
I would like to delete a site from my dashboard. I had done some freelance work for this organization several years ago, but I don’t anymore. I am not necessarily looking to delete the site entirely, because I do not own it. I just want it off my personal dashboard. How do I do that? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
If you’re no longer connected to that site at all, you can remove yourself from the site. That will also remove the site from your dashboard.
You can do that from the site’s My Blogs page:
https://phillyqfest.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs
On that page, you can hover over the site’s address and click on “Leave Blog.” That will always work to remove yourself from a site as long as you aren’t the creator/owner of the site.
If you want to stay a user on the site but just hide it from your dashboard, you can change that in the “Dashboard” column on that same page. There, you can click the “Hide” link to hide the site from your dashboard without leaving the site entirely.
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

I did try to “leave blog” and I get a message that I do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard that site. Likewise, I an not able to hide for the same reason.
FYI, there has not been any activity on the site since 2013 so I think that it’s basically abandoned. I cannot contact anyone to take me off manually.

Ah! I just checked that blog again, and you successfully left the blog — you’re getting that message about not having the necessary privileges because you’re no longer a user there. :)
If you still see the site in the list of sites on your account, you may need to refresh the page in your browser or clear your browser’s cache. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that!
