How do I delete my domain from the Domain Settings page?

My domain name was previously registered with WordPress.com. It expired, so I purchased it again with GoDaddy. Now I want to hook my domain name up with my WordPress site but I can’t change any of the settings in my Domain Settings with WordPress, even though the domain is now registered through GoDaddy. Please advise!
