How do I delete non-existing pages?
-
I have pages that display across the top of my post (that I had put there previously) which display Not Found-Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.
When I go to my ‘pages’ section of my dashboard, they aren’t there to delete or edit. Only two of my pages are displayed there, one that I posted a year ago and one that I just posted.
I have cleared cache and cookies but still have seven page taps on my blog with only two showing as editable or deletable. I’d like to get rid of the pages that I no longer want and/or edit their content. -
Hi there – it looks like you have a custom menu, which links to some categories that have no posts in them, which is why they’re displaying an error message. For example, there are no posts in the Hours or Calendar categories.
To remove those categories from your menu, just head over to Appearance > Menus, open up each item by clicking the triangle next to it, and clicking “Remove”:

I’ve created a screenshot to illustrate what I mean:

You can learn more here about how to manage custom menus.
If you run into any trouble, just let me know.
