My twitter feed is displayed on the sidebar of most of my pages, but I also want it to be displayed on the homepage that people see when first entering my site. How do I do this?

    Hi there,

Right now I see that you’re using the page “A passion for plant ecology” as your site’s home page. That page is using the default page template, which doesn’t include a sidebar. You can change that template by going to Pages > All Pages in your site’s dashboard and editing that page.

In the page editor, you can select the “Sidebar Template” in the Page Attributes section. Be sure to click the blue Update button when you’re done.

Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Thank you so very much for your help – it was just what i needed!

I have an additional question: I would like my “Home” page to be the place where all my blogs are posted. However, when creating a new post i cannot seem to be able to put it on this home page. I would like anyone going to “www.bengooden.com” to see my blog first.

    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hi Ben,

Sure thing! You can change what shows up on your site’s home page (or “front page”) under Settings > Reading in your site’s dashboard.

Next to “Front page displays” you can choose “Your latest posts” to have your blog posts show up on the home page (instead of having a static page as your home page). Just let me know if you have any questions about how that works!
