How do I ensure that a google search gives my home page?

when I search for my website in google as mirko sablich I get the following page which is not my home page (is a weird uncategorized post type with no info and looks as though it is a bad link): http://mirkosablich.wordpress.com/author/mirkosablich/
I want to get my home page which is: http://mirkosablich.wordpress.com/
Please tell me how to fix this situation.

Choose a theme that doesn’t display the author on every post, and post a lot. Right now, it’s finding your username which is perfectly appropriate.

I use the blog as a webpage so I don’t have any posts and I don’t intend to do so. The problem seems that a page with a category uncategorized comes out first when google searching my name. I have tried to erase this category and it is not possible and so it is always there. A search never sends the searcher to my home page but always to this uncategorized page which says Not Found…..thanks,

It will likely take 3-6 months for that category to disappear from google’s indexes. They would have picked it up when they first indexed your site and probably before you had deleted the original hello world post (check to make sure you have absolutely no published posts. If you do, either delete them or go in and set them all back to either draft or private.

Hi sacredpath, thank you for your answer. I makes sense to me. What about the fact that my homepage shows up later in the search. Other pages of my site pop up first.
