How do I finalize a change of email address?

I have tried to change the email address on this blog but have not received the confirmation email allowing me to finalize it

Hi there,
You’ll receive the confirmation email at the new email address you’re changing it to. Can you check your spam/junk folder at that email address to make sure the confirmation email didn’t end up there?
If you still don’t see the email at the new address, please let me know and I can investigate that for you. :)

Sorry, no email has come through to the ‘new’ address. The old one received a notification within minutes advising of the change but not the new one – not even in the junk folder!

Thanks for letting me know. Can you confirm the email address you’re trying to change it to? (You can include your email address in a reply here, and only staff will be able to see it.)
I noticed that on your blog itself you list an email address ending in hotmail.co.uk, but the email address you entered in your account settings ends with .com instead. I just want to double-check that. :) If you need to change that, you can enter the correct address in your account settings here: https://wordpress.com/settings/account/
If the .com ending is correct, please let me know and I’ll check with our team to make sure that confirmation email was sent correctly. Thanks!

Many thanks. I think you’ve spotted the error! I set the blog up for a friend and it’s her email I am trying to change it to. I did put .com instead of.co.uk, so once she’s checked her inbox we will hopefully be sorted. If not I’ll be back in touch.
