How do I find out who owns a URL?

  Hi All,

  TIA of any help. A wordpress.com site has my mobile number on it, nothing untoward but getting the old call here and there and finally have decided after quite an abusive call earlier that it can no longer stay there. Can anyone tell me how I find the person who owns the domain?

  I have checked a few who is and it comes up that it is free or that there is no match.

  If anyone could let me know how I could contact the person that’d be great.
