How do I fix my gallery?

When clicking individual images in my galleries, I would like the image to enlarge in the same window or in a new window. Currently the image enlarges into a slide-show with the other images, which also include extraneous info like my camera, shutterspeed, etc. How can I get rid of all this? I just want to streamline the viewing process. Go to my site and click on Works, Collage 2010 for example. Thanks.

You can disable the image carousel that pops up when clicking on an image in a gallery, if you don’t want to use it. You can change that under Settings > Media in your site’s dashboard. On the media settings page, under Image Gallery Carousel, uncheck the box next to “Enable carousel.”
If you want to keep the carousel but remove that extraneous information about the images, you can uncheck the box next to “Metadata” on that settings page instead.
If you don’t use the carousel, you can choose where the images link to in the Gallery Settings when you add the gallery to a post or page. You can have each image link to an attachment page (a page that shows only that image) or directly to the media file.
