How do I get a blog name back that I think I registered but cannot find?

I was registering a new blog, hit the upgrade button but then canceled it because I thought I just wanted the basic. My cart emptied and I closed the window, but now when I type in that blog address it says it’s already taken. That was mere moments ago, after I had started the registration process. The name is not showing up in my dashboard. I want to get it back.
