How do I get a URL to be accepted with the media upload tool?

When I try to upload media from another blog (like someone’s button), the URL I put in is rejected (shows red x) and I’m not allowed to insert into my post. I’ve tried several URLs to determine that it is something with my blog and not outside media.

Yes, I am, but something’s not working right because the URL space isn’t accepting anything I put in. I’m trying to use this button off Ann Voskamp’s website: <img src=”http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/ff162/annvoskamp/subalbumone/walkwithhimwednesdays2-1.jpg” >

As long as you’re allowed to use the image, you might want to try downloading the image and uploading it to your media library:
