How do I get a wordpress page to not show up when I google our company

    When I google our company, Chamness Group, a wordpress site pops up as the first search result ( https://chamnessgroup.wordpress.com/about/). I have logged into our account and deleted any information as well as hidden the profile, and when I go to My Site, it says I don’t have any sites yet. How can I make this search result go away? Is that pulling information from somewhere else that it may be linked to? Any help would be great!

    You might be logged into a different account when you see that. If not, then I suggest you add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.

    The site https://chamnessgroup.wordpress.com/ is publicly visible. Therefore Google and other search engines may continue to crawl it periodically, and index the site, and to provide search results pointing at the site.

    Apart from deleting the site, you might also consider changing the Privacy Settings. The Private setting would best suit your goal. Regardless of whether you delete the site or set it to private, the Google search results would persist for some time after the change. Eventually, the Google and other search engine results will drop off.
