How do I get my avatar to show up in comments I leave on non-wordpress sites?

Whenever I comment on any non-wordpress blog, my avatar shows up as the Open ID logo. I have a gravatar set up on all email accounts associated with my blog. When I comment, whether I choose Open ID or WordPress from the drop down of my friends blogs, my image never shows up. Can you please tell me what I’m doing wrong?

This is actually part of the OpenID commenting system. If you comment with OpenID on Blogger, it’ll show the OpenID logo.

Okay, well is there any way I can get my avatar to show up when I make comments on other people’s blogs?

Yes, if they’re using Gravatar, just don’t use OpenID and enter your account’s email address, and your Gravatar will be used.
