How do I get my blog to save the changes I make to its font?

I am using the theme “ideation and intent” and have recently invested in the pro bundle. I was making changes to the color and fonts on my blog and the font changes are not saving. The colors are working fine, but every time I change the font (I’m trying to get it to “FF Netto”) it will appear to save the changes but once I view my site it has changed back to the default. Even when I go back to Appearance/customize it looks like the default despite saying that it is infact “FF Natto” in the customizing bar. I have already cleared and reset safari’s wordpress cache and cookies which didn’t fix the problem.

  • Hi there – I’ve checked your site in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, and see both your site title and headings displayed in FF Netto, as you can see in this screenshot:

Are you seeing a font other than FF Natto on just the site title, the headings, or both?

Would you mind trying these two things:

    1) Could you please check your site in another browser where you haven’t loaded your site lately? For example, Firefox or Chrome. Do you see the correct font there?

    2) Would it be possible to upload a screenshot of what you’re seeing to help in troubleshooting?

Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot, if you’re not sure: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/

You can upload the screenshot in your Media Library so I can see it. Thanks.

Hey – so I checked out your screen shot and that is the default font. Maybe it’s FF Natto bold, but it is not what I was looking for? When I went back into the editor again today though I was able to change it to what is called FF Natto in the side bar and unbold it. And it saved! Yay! Perhaps it was just a fluke but it seems fine now. Thanks so for you time.

  • Glad it’s sorted out! If you have any trouble with this again, please let know.
