How do I get my "menu" bar to display – and what causes it to not display?

  My site is not displaying a menu bar (where you should be able to click to different sections of the page – for ex: an “about me” section, a part I could label “resume,” etc). In the process, my formatting got messed up beyond repair and I cannot add a new one.

  I can see it on the right-hand side of your blog. That theme does not display a series of horizontal header tabs.
