How do I get my text to appear in the editor?

  Hi, sorry, I know your busy…

  I’ve tried to create new posts and for some reason I cannot see the text in the editor [black] i’ve tried a few times… the only way I can see it sometimes is by selecting it… it started misbehaving last night. At first I thought it was because I was copy pasting from Word as I usually do, but then I tried a new blog post and typed it in directly… cannot see the text in the editor????

  P.S. I also cannot see the task bar when I create a new post?
