how do I get only partial posts to show, then "click to read more"?

how do I get my posts in the archives not to be so long? When someone goes to my “gutbusters” archive, they get my latest posts. They can’t see more than one, without scrolling way down… any way to have it just show part of the post?

Hi there – Whether posts show as full posts or excerpts in the archives depends on the theme. Some themes show them one way, some another. There isn’t any way to change this.
Here are some themes similar to the one that you’re using that I know off the top of my head show the archives as excerpts:
