How do I get past a redirect I didn't know about or authorize?

    Norton won’t let me into my admin area. It tells me I’m being diverted to “search.dnsadvantage.com” instead of rlagee.wordpress.com. I’ve tried dumping my cache, cookies, and content files, but still get the same message from Norton. Any thoughts?

    Could you tell me what happens when you try to access your Dashboard directly:
    http://rlagee.wordpress.com/wp-admin

    If you’re still being diverted, you may need to contact Norton’s support and ask how to make a WordPress.com site an accepted-site while you’re running their software.

    Can you tell me if Norton is allowing you to see other WordPress.com sites? Take a look at thatrobyn.com and let me know if you’re diverted.

    I think I figured out the problem. I don’t run Norton on my MAC, but somewhere along the line, either my provider or WordPress uses it in their firewalls. I was using http:// and getting blocked every time when going to the /wp-admin side of my sites. As long as I use https://, I can get in. I have not had any trouble seeing the blog to just view it, it has always been the admin side that caused a problem the last several days. Https:// seems to fix the issue.
