How Do I Get Rid of a Transferred Domain Name On WordPress When Nothing is Paid For Yet????

    I had to transfer my domain name from GoDaddy. I did not see the price until AFTER selecting transfer. I’m on a TIGHT, TIGHT BUDGET. I can’t afford the extra $18 right now. I have not paid for anything, yet. I removed it, yet the domain name keeps displaying, even though I deleted it out of my cart. I can’t delete and start over, b/c WordPress says I can’t get back on for 30 days. What do I do now?

    The transfer will not initiate unless paid for, but just to be 100% sure, what is the domain name?

    Thanks for responding…it was difficult to express what I needed…how do I delete what I started with? Word Press doesn’t give me an option to cancel my selection before payment, unless I’m missing something. I want to use an entirely different name. My current domain name I purchased through GoDaddy and own is BlueRidgeRedhead.com and I can’t figure out a way to remove it from WordPress. If I cancel my account, I will have to wait 30 days before I can start again. Perhaps I should just go to SiteGround and go from there? When I log into my account it automatically defaults to blueridgeredhead, even though I’ve not paid and removed everything from my checkout cart and removed the domain transfer.

    Hope this clarifies things a bit. Obviously, I’m just getting started and making mistakes. LOL I love my initial domain name, which I wanted to use regarding the hospitality industry (travel, lodging and tourism and health and beauty tips for older women). However, I’m also an advocate for several causes, and unless I can have separate websites/blogs, the overall blueridgeredhead may not be the best umbrella choice.

    It’s under the free plan, and there’s no associated transferred domain, and nothing in your cart.

    If you don’t want blueridgeredhead to be your site’s core address, you can change it’s address https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/ or start a new one from https://wordpress.com/start
