How do I get the rollover back for Page Links as well as the background?

  Theme has changed and background for page links has disappeared along with the rollover.

  I am just starting up my blog and I found a theme I really like but when I applied the theme the rough edges around the posts disappeared, the background of the Page links disappeared and the roll over on the Page links is not working.

  These theme functions are not customizable so does anyone know how to fix them?
