How do I get the separate widget areas to work in 2012 theme?

    I’ve set up Home and Blog pages and made the home page static (pointing to my home page) and my blog posts to go on the blog posts page.

    I’ve then tried to make use of the separate widget areas (first front page widget area and second front page widget area) to distinguish between the two different types of pages, but they are not working even when I empty the main sidebar area of all widgets.

    Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong please?

    Sorry to say that you are posting in the wrong forum. These are the forums for sites hosted by WordPress.com. The site you’ve linked to is a self-hosted WordPress install.

    Please head over to http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a user account there, you will have to create one in order to log in to their forums.
