How do I get the testimonial plug in to work on my website?

  I am using the Motif Theme which offers a testimonial function. I have set up the testimonials, but I cannot see how to make it work on my page?
  The blog url is beyondglobalmindset.com. I don’t know why I cannot select it from the drop down menu below.

  Hi Heike,

  The Motif theme includes a special testimonial page that you can see on your site here:

  http://beyondglobalmindset.com/testimonial/

  You can add a link to that page, or to individual testimonials, if you want to link to them from your custom menu.

  Another option is to use the Motif theme’s home page template, which is what you see on the front page of the Motif theme demo. You can set that up with these steps:

  1. From your dashboard, go to Pages and create a new page or edit an existing page. Then, in the Page Settings/Attributes section, assign the front page template to the page.
  2. Go to Settings → Reading and set “Front page displays” to “A static page.”
  3. In the dropdown menus, select the page you just assigned the front page template to in Step 1 as “Front page.” Choose any of your other pages as “Posts page:” this is where your blog posts will be displayed.

  Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

  Dear Rachel,
  thanks very much for your help. It partly worked. I have included “Testimonials” in my custom menu, but the page has disapeared. In the settings – reading, I can only select the pages from a sub menu, but not the main pages.
  I do not want to apply the startpage template to my landing page as I would like to keep the picture and the side menu. I would be already happy to have a working testimonial page.
  It would be great if you could help me with this,

  Hi Heike,

  You’ll just need to make a little change to the link you used, to remove the “s” at the end. This is the link you added to your custom menu:

  http://beyondglobalmindset.com/testimonials/

  But your testimonial page doesn’t have an “s” at the end:

  http://beyondglobalmindset.com/testimonial/
