How do I get to the dashboard I see in all the videos?

  Hi there! I’m trying to learn how to do this all but I can’t even get to the dashboard menu I see in all the tutorials. I’m guessing wordpress updated and all the tutorial videos are using an older UI? I’m so confused.

  Most of the videos you see on the internet, are for wordpress.org which is quite different from wordpress.com. Also most videos still show the old dashboard.
