How do I have a newsletter sent to my new email address?
-
I changed my email address however, a newsletter I received is still going to my old email address. What do I do now to make the newsletter go to my new address? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I receive this weekly on Monday mornings. I would like it going to my gmail address and not my Verizon email. I changed my email last week however, still received the newsletter this morning on Verizon. Thanks as I am trying to get rid of Verizon. Too much Spam.

Did you follow the steps to change you blog address as described in the support docs I linked to above?

Your email is coming to the address that I want to use but not the newsletter. I am confused about what to do next. The new email is working however, I need the newsletter coming to me at the new address. Thanks. I never did receive a confirmation but the email address I want is in my profile.

I was thinking of doing exactly just that. I subscribed a long time ago and I believe a friend of mine helped me. However, she has cancer now and I don’t want to bother her. She starts chemo this week. My problem is nothing compared to that. Thanks. How do I subscribe again to this particular newsletter. I tried but didn’t know exactly where to subscribe to a newsletter as I don’t blog yet.

I don’t know how to help with this as there is no subscription widget and the post is full of links so I’m bailing out and tagging the thread for Staff help.

Hi there,
You can subscribe to the blog by going to the blog while logged in to your WordPress.com account and clicking the “Follow” button in the admin bar at the top of the page: https://cloudup.com/cKLi8vxZyYu
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

I just did that and the follow changed to “Following.” Will I now receive the newsletter at my new email address? Thanks. That sure was easy if it worked. I won’t know until next Monday as that is when I receive it. It might be better if I change it to Friday instead. Do you know how to do that as well?

Just saw the screen shot and it confirmed what I really did! Yes, if it worked, you are certainly the “happiness engineer!”

Hi there,
You are now subscribed to that site with your WordPress.com account. If you’d like to make sure you get emails from that site (to the email address in your account settings), you can check your subscription on the Edit Blogs I Follow page in the WordPress.com Reader here:
https://wordpress.com/read/edit/
You can click the “Edit” button next to each blog to edit the subscription settings for that blog. Under “Send new posts by email:” you can choose how often you want to get email updates from that blog.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about that. :)

It didn’t work. My email address is correct in settings however, I still receive the newsletter to my old address. Any other ideas? I will probably have to unsubscribe and then resubscribe if there is no other way.
I look forward to hearing from anyone. Thanks and remember to VOTE today. -
Can you please head to the Edit Blogs I Follow page and check to see what your subscription settings are for that site?
If your subscription settings say, “You get no post and no comment emails for this blog,” that means you won’t get email updates from the site. You’ll only see the updates in the WordPress.com Reader. You’ll need to edit those subscription settings to get the updates via email.
If you’d like to make sure you stop getting the updates at the old email address, you can adjust the subscriptions for that address by logging out of your WordPress.com account and going here: https://subscribe.wordpress.com/
