How do I hide a featured image when you click on the post?
-
Hi guys, the new blog post layout isn’t hugely user friendly –
1) I can’t work out how to hide the featured image when you go to the actual post (which you could do on the old blog post entry form)
2) When you ask to Preview the blog post, it doesn’t show you what the post will look like on your blog, like it used toThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
1) I can’t work out how to hide the featured image when you go to the actual post (which you could do on the old blog post entry form)
There shouldn’t be any difference between how featured images work on your posts, no matter which editor you’re using. Can you describe the steps you took to hide the featured image before?
If you’d like, you can also get back to the other editor by going to your My Sites page and clicking the “Dashboard” link there. From there, you can go to Posts > Add New to create a new post in the old editor.
2) When you ask to Preview the blog post, it doesn’t show you what the post will look like on your blog, like it used to
When you click the “Preview” button, it will save the draft of your post and then a new window or tab should appear in your browser to show you how the post will look on your blog. Can you let me know if that new window is popping up for you? (If you have a pop-up blocker in your browser, you may have to disable them on WordPress.com for it to work.)
Thanks for your feedback!
